Hungry Heart team, the flagship social enterprise of Stella’s Circle. Together, we’re on a mission to help transform lives. And at Stella’s, we do it through exceptional food and drink.
Stella’s honours our namesake Dr. Stella Burry, just as our dining room has always embodied her belief that simple acts of friendship, like sharing food and conversation, can create communities of inclusion and compassion.

Here, you can savour social good.
Beyond our customers, we also feed people experiencing food insecurity. Many of the participants of Stella's Circle and other marginalized community members live in poverty. Our Meals Squared program provides them with tasty well-balanced meals to lessen hunger.

A Seat At Our Table
Located on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Beothuk, the lands and waters in and around the City have traditionally served as a gathering place for the Mi’kmaq. The broader region of Newfoundland and Labrador continues to be home to diverse Indigenous Peoples, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis from across Turtle Island. We honour and pay respect to the past, present, and future caretakers of these territories.
We aspire to be a home for all peoples, and to follow in the footsteps of Dr. Stella Burry, a visionary social worker who dedicated her life helping marginalized individuals in Newfoundland and Labrador.
